Collection: Hiking from Ella

Located 200 km East of Colombo, the famous town of Ella is a haven for hikers due to its high elevation, rich bio-diversity, cloud forests, tea plantations, cave networks etc. The Ella gap which gives access to views across the Southern plains of Sri Lanka is one of the most well known attractions in Sri Lanka. Hikes can be organized to many locations in and around this scenic location including the Ella Rock, Little Adam’s Peak, None Arches Bridge, Bambarakanda Waterfall which is the highest waterfall in Sri Lanka, the Horton Plains National Park and many more nature hikes and waterfall hikes that are found in abundance.
