Gregory Lake Entrance Tickets

Located in the heart of Nuwara Eliya, Lake Gregory is a reservoir that was built in the late 1800s by the British governor at that time, Sir William Gregory. Once a swampy bog which was renovated by the said governor, at present is a great spot to relax and spend some quality time with family and friends with the numerous activities and a massive park that lies adjoining it. Spanning over 200 acres Lake Gregory and its surrounding area is a perfect venue to enjoy a few water activities in the central highlands of Nuwara Eliya.

The park area also serves as a great place for families to enjoy picnics. There are boats and jet skis that are available to hire for a fee while if you are good at it, you can enjoy some windsurfing too. You will see many ponies trotting along the grassy areas of the park as well where most visitors enjoy pony rides too. The park also has many food stalls and shaded areas for visitors to sit and relax. There is also a sea plane landing jetty on Lake Gregory as well.

You can book an entrance ticket through Lakpura to enjoy the views and the activities that are available at Lake Gregory. Our booking reference will enable you to obtain a physical ticket which can be handed over to you through our representatives. This ticket acts as a pass to enter the Lake Gregory park area. Additional hiring charges and additional services that may incur charges should be paid separately.
