Lakpura® Star Fruit (Pani Kamaranga) Grafted Plant is a premium tropical fruit plant variety of the well-known star fruit (Averrhoa carambola), locally called Kamaranga in Sri Lanka. It is specially offered as a grafted plant, which means it is propagated from a selected high-quality mother tree to ensure faster fruiting, better yield, and consistent fruit quality compared to seed-grown plants.
This plant grows into a small to medium-sized evergreen tree with lush green foliage and attractive pinkish-purple flowers. Once mature, it produces the distinctive star-shaped fruits that are crisp, juicy, and mildly sweet to tangy in taste. The “Pani” type typically refers to a sweeter variety, making it more enjoyable for fresh eating.
