Located near the Cave Temple in Dambulla, this is a one of a kind museum in Sri Lanka which allows you to study and admire illustrations of wall paintings found in various historical sites and how they have evolved through the centuries. Also known as the Museum of wall painting of the Central Cultural Fund, these mainly consist of paintings uncovered through research. Wall paintings that are found here include some from ancient temples found dating back to the first ancient Kingdom of Anuradhapura to the Modern era.

You can avoid queues and delays and obtain and entrance ticket to the Dambulla museum by booking one from our site. Our booking reference will allow you to obtain an entry pass to the museum.
